A mobile plan (Claro)

Today I finally bought a mobile plan from Claro, the local operator and probably the best known one. I should add that only thanks to a local was I able to get the classic monthly plan with unlimited data, which came to 53 900 COP (about 12 euros) a month. The internet is solidly fast, data works everywhere so far, and the allowance really does seem unlimited, with no early caps or throttling. With the plan I could choose between a physical SIM and an eSIM. Without a willing Colombian I would have had to buy an ordinary prepaid SIM, and for the way I use it (a hotspot for the laptop) that would have come out far more expensive. For an ordinary tourist it is perfectly fine. By the way, Claro has a beautiful, modern, large branch. The best part was when the man behind the counter handed me a note written by hand, with which I had to walk across the whole branch to pay, and then come back with the receipt.
